On the streets of Notting Hill, romance may be in the air for Captain America. Recently, Anthony Mackie, the ever-charming star of Captain America: Brave New World, was photographed locking lips with an unknown blonde during what looked like an incredibly affectionate date night in London.
Decked out in a casual hoodie and jeans, Mackie seemed completely at ease as he embraced and giggled with his companion at one point the spark between them led to a bold makeout right on the sidewalk. Their chemistry was undeniable, setting hearts fluttering and speculation buzzing.
To many fans, this sighting comes straight out of left field. Mackie previously admitted that dating under the spotlight is no easy feat: “The idea of dating is really hard,” he confessed earlier this year, reflecting on the challenges of trust, vulnerability, and putting himself out there especially as he intentionally avoids dating apps.
Since finalising his divorce in 2018 from his childhood sweetheart, Sheletta Chapital—with whom he shares four sons—Mackie has kept his private life mostly off the radar. In fact, he’s often stated that fatherhood anchors his world more than any Hollywood spotlight ever could.
